People that have psychic powers have a really great and useful gift. They have the ability to predict things with good levels of accuracy, and it is a skill which they will have developed from an early age.
Psychic mediums sometimes get a bad press though. It is usually to do with related practices such as faith healing or psychic surgery, where people believe that they can be cured of any medical issues simply by the power of psychic surgery (this is simply not true by the way, you still need physical medicine, treatment or surgery to address any medical complaints).
But sometimes, psychic mediums may get a slating off people just because they could not 100% accurately predict future events for them during psychic readings. One thing that many sceptics of psychic mediumship ask is, if they can predict things in the future, why can they not predict National Lottery results?
Here are some facts about psychics, and why they cannot and probably will not ever win the lottery!
Psychics do not have supernatural powers
Sadly, a lot of people think that psychic mediums possess some kind of supernatural powers that will let them manipulate events in the future to the advantage of the person requesting them.
The truth is, psychics are just regular, normal human beings just like you and me! Of course, the concept of a mere mortal having special powers that no-one else has is something that is discussed and believed to be true by many religious around the world, but I can tell you for a fact that this is not something psychics possess.
Psychics make a living out of helping others
When someone approaches a psychic and wants to use their services, it is normally because they are trying to seek the answers to some questions in their lives that they could not find out themselves.
A psychic is normally someone that aims to offer help and life guidance to people, whether it be to do with matters relating to love and relationships, family, or careers.
In many respects, a psychic does their job very well. Psychics are a bit like counsellors in some ways, you pay them some money and tell them of your troubles, and they will use their knowledge and experience of various topics to provide an answer which is most likely to have that outcome.
Psychics do not have a time machine
You may have noticed that there is a common theme expressed about psychic mediums in this blog post – their ability or “gift” is to predict stuff.
They are not always right when they predict future events, granted, as their predictions are essentially based on how probable something is likely to occur based on actual facts from past and present events.
Their job involves a great deal of statistical probability, which they often have to calculate in their minds on-the-fly whenever they do a psychic reading for someone. What they cannot do is pause time, jump into a time machine and fly into the future to find out if something has happened or not, and then come back to the present to give an accurate response.
So in short – psychics cannot predict lottery results. They can make a damn good guess, but that is all they can do!
